The principle of high frequency brazing:
The principle of high-frequency welding-with the help of the skin effect of the high-frequency current, the high-frequency electric energy can be concentrated on the surface of the weldment, and the proximity effect can be used to control the position and range of the high-frequency current flow route. When the high-frequency current is required to be concentrated on a certain part of the weldment, this requirement can be achieved as long as the conductor and the weldment form a current loop and the conductor is close to this part on the weldment, so that they form adjacent conductors with each other. . High-frequency welding is based on the specific form and special requirements of the weldment structure, mainly using the skin effect and the proximity effect, so that the surface metal of the weldment to be welded can be quickly heated to achieve welding.
Two effects of high frequency current in high frequency welding:
Skin effect-when a conductor is energized with alternating current, the current distribution on the cross section of the conductor is uneven, the current density gradually increases from the center of the conductor to the surface, and most of the current flows only along the surface of the conductor. The lower the resistivity of the conductor, the greater the permeability, and the higher the frequency of the current, the more significant the skin effect.
Proximity effect-when high-frequency currents flow in opposite directions between two conductors or in a reciprocating conductor, the current will concentrate on the adjacent side of the conductor to flow a special physical phenomenon.
High frequency welding has the following characteristics
1. Since the current is highly concentrated in the welding area and the heating speed is extremely fast, the welding speed can be as high as 150-200m/min.
2. Due to the fast welding speed and strong self-cooling effect of the weldment, not only the heat-affected zone is small, but also it is not easy to oxidize, so the structure and performance of the weld are very good.
3. The surface of the weldment can not be cleaned before welding, thus improving the efficiency.
4. There are a wide variety of metals that can be welded, and the shapes and specifications of the products are many.
