High frequency quenching of valve lifter
Design purpose
1. UHF induction hardening: UHF induction heating equipment is used to quickly heat the surface of the workpiece to the quenching temperature, and then quickly cool it to cause martensite transformation on the surface of the workpiece to meet the required physical properties.
2. Complete automation: The process of automatic operation or control by machines or devices according to prescribed procedures or instructions without human intervention. The goal is "stable, accurate, and fast". The use of automation technology can not only liberate people from heavy physical labor, part of mental labor, and harsh and dangerous working environments, but also expand human organ functions, greatly increase labor productivity, and enhance human beings’ ability to understand and transform the world. .
Technological process:
power on → transfer table to deliver the workpiece → robotic arm grabs the workpiece → moves to the heating zone → quenching → cooling → robotic arm grabs the workpiece and sends it to the unloading area.
Adopt single-turn continuous scanning quenching method, first edit the robot arm motion program, start all equipment normally, the robot arm starts to move according to the set program, grab the workpiece and move to the heating position, rotate according to the set program and move down at a constant speed , The heating area is heated to the quenching temperature through the induction coil in turn, and the lower end of the induction coil is sprayed with water to cool until the surface quenching is completed.
The parameters of the UHF heating equipment should be set according to the actual process requirements, and the model of the robot arm used should be selected according to the shape and weight of the workpiece.
Sensor description
The inductor sends electric energy to the surface layer of the part through induction, and converts the electric energy in the surface layer of the part into heat energy through the action of eddy current and magnetic tape, and heats the surface of the part to reach the quenching temperature.
Robot arm part description
Planar articulated robot, also known as SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm) robot, is a robot arm used in assembly operations.
The SCARA robot has 3 rotary joints, the axes of which are parallel to each other, and are positioned and oriented in the plane. The other joint is a mobile joint, which is used to complete the movement of the end piece perpendicular to the plane. The position of the wrist reference point is determined by the angular displacement φ1 and φ2 of the two rotary joints, and the displacement z of the moving joint, that is, p=f(φ1,φ2,z), as shown in the figure below. This type of robot has a light structure and quick response. It is most suitable for plane positioning and vertical operations.
The mechanical arm can be programmed, and the parameters can be set according to actual requirements. Connect it to the UHF power supply through an intermediate relay to control the start and stop of the UHF machine and realize automated production.
